Kama'aina Kids, Hawaiian Electric and Tutor Hawaii present
A Circus with a Purpose
Performances will Entertain and Educate Hawaii's Children
Classic big-top entertainment will return to the Blaisdell Arena on November 13 when the Great American Circus kicks off three nights of family fun, featuring internationally acclaimed performers who will weave lessons on protecting our environment into their captivating, gravity-defying acts.
Hawaiian Electric Company and Tutor Hawaii are title sponsors of the circus. Each two-hour performance blends contemporary entertainment, artistry and human ability with lessons on being more environmentally friendly.
"We're proud to sponsor this event. It's always easier to learn something when you're having fun, so we think this is a wonderful way to reach out to our children and teach them about the importance of protecting our environment," said Ka'iulani DeSilva, Hawaiian Electric's director of Education and Consumer Affairs.
Children up to age 4 are free and children ages 5-12 are free with the purchase of any adult ticket. Adult tickets run from $28-38 and are available through Kama'aina Kids, Ticketmaster, and local merchants.
Performances are scheduled for:
- Friday, November 13: 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday, November 14: 1:00 p.m.; 4:00 p.m.; 7:00 p.m.
- Sunday, November 15: 2:00 p.m.; 6:00 p.m.
